Born in Burqa, Nablus on 16. Sep 1930, finished his primary education in his village; graduated in 1944, he then joined Al-Salahiya Secondary School in Nablus; moved to Saudi Arabia where he worked as a teacher at Al-Faisalyya School in Buraidah; worked in trade in Riyadh; as a librarian at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait, during this period, he received his MA and PhD degrees from Al-Azhar University, he currently lives in Jordan.
