Bilal Abu Samaan, also known as Bilal Muhammad, was a Palestinian athlete born on June 9, 1992, in Gaza City. He completed his high school education at Abu Dhar al-Ghafari High School and later earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Al-Aqsa University.
Throughout his career, Abu Samaan served as the coach of the Palestinian athletics team, contributing to the development of sports in the region. In early 2021, he took on the role of a physical education teacher at the American International School in Gaza.
His commitment to sports and excellence led him to participate as a candidate for the Palestinian Olympic Academy. Abu Samaan was part of the 62nd international session of the International Olympic Academy for Young Ambassadors of the Olympic Games, which commenced on June 12, 2022, in the ancient city of Bennix.
Representing Palestine, Bilal Abu Samaan took part in significant events such as the 2023 Arab Games in Algeria and the 20th Arab Cross Country Championships in Sharm El Sheikh.
