The family of the Palestinian child, Yahya Nour al-Din Rais Abu Taha, expressed their great happiness over their child’s completion of memorizing the Holy Qur’an, becoming the youngest memorizer of the Qur’an in occupied Palestine.
In order to identify the various stages of this unique achievement, the “Arabi21” camera visited the child in his school and home, and met those who worked to help the child, Yahya (7 years old), who lives in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Nasser Abu Arar, director of the “Al-Muhajireen Sharia School for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an” in Khan Yunis, where the child Yahya is studying, explained that the school pays “special attention” to the students of the Holy Qur’an, speaking to the “Arabi 21” camera that visited the school about the different stages that Yahya went through. Who “distinguished himself from a young age” until he completed memorizing the entire Holy Qur’an.
Nour al-Din, the father of the child whose face showed signs of happiness, confirmed to “Arabi 21” that “the best fruit that a person can reap in his life is to have a memorizer of the Book of God,” pointing out that he often adopted the method of encouragement and fun. In order to encourage Yahya to memorize, despite the state of exhaustion that the child is exposed to at times.
As for the teacher, Muhammad Abu Anza, who supervised the child’s journey in memorizing the Qur’an, he noted the importance of helping the family and the school in achieving this achievement, which was also indicated by the child’s mother.
The youngest memorizer of the Holy Qur’an also spoke about his future aspirations and dreams, part of which relate to the occupied city of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
