Regarding an environmentally friendly technological innovation, the two young Palestinian women from the Gaza Strip, Maryam Al-Hosary and Feryal Ajour, created a smart container that rewards anyone who throws garbage in it by giving him free Internet service, or charging his smartphone through it.

The project aims to preserve the environment by using technology, and to promote the culture of waste sorting and its subsequent reuse by municipalities.

The project, prepared by the two students who graduated from the Technology Management major, relies on sorting the waste coming through the container into plastic and metal, in addition to being powered by solar energy through a cell equipped with innovation, in addition to other equipment.

Once the container is full of garbage, the municipality is notified of this, via remote sensing, and sends a message that it must be emptied.
