Tariq Al-Shakaa has more than 35 years of experience in management, the pharmaceutical sector and financial services. Al-Shakaa began his career in the pharmaceutical sector, where he held senior management positions in a number of pharmaceutical companies in Palestine. In 2005, Shakaa moved to assume the position of CEO of Lotus Financial Investments in Ramallah, a financial brokerage company. Under his management, Lotus excelled and became the leading company in Palestine in the field of financial brokerage. The company has also expanded its business into many regional financial markets. 

Al-Shakaa also holds the position of board member of Lotus Financial Investments and the National Insurance Company.

He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors at the Bank of Palestine, the Arab Hotels Company, and the Golden Wheat Mills.

Al-Shakaa holds a bachelor’s degree in commercial law from Ohio University in the United States of America.
