Born in Meiron, District of Safad 1924; he was a leader in the local struggles against Zionists; he then emigrated to Lebanon. During the Tripartite Aggression in 1956, he formed bands of local fighters and launched attacks against British and Jewish targets; blew up the French Embassy in Beirut, so that; he was sentenced to 15 years in jail by a Lebanese court but he ran away during the Lebanese National Revolt in 1958; joined Fatah movement in the beginning of 1960; he was killed by the Lebanese authorities in 1966.
