Muhammad Kamal Ismail (born in 1916
– died on August 25, 1992) was a Jordanian-Palestinian politician and diplomat.
He was the founder of Jordan Television in 1966, and its first president.
His upbringing and life
Muhammad Kamal Ismail was born in
1916 in the town of Anabta in the Tulkarm Governorate in the West Bank. He
graduated from the American University of Beirut with a major in political
science and economics, then returned to Palestine after his graduation, and
worked at the Kadoorie Institute in the city of Tulkarm (later a university),
then he was appointed as a controller of publications in Palestine.
