Samah Abu Aoun, whose full name is Samah Abdul Rahim Hussein Hamad (Umm Omar; July 9, 1976 - ), is a Palestinian chemical and administrative engineer and businesswoman . Since March 2024, she has held the position of Minister of Social Development in the government of Muhammad Mustafa .

Her life

On March 28, 2024, President Mahmoud Abbas approved the ministerial formation of the nineteenth Palestinian government headed by Muhammad Mustafa and gave it confidence. On March 31, 2024, Abu Aoun was sworn in as Minister of the Ministry of Social Development at the Palestinian presidential headquarters in Al-Bireh.
