Hana Aoun Shawa is a Palestinian diplomat who has served as the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Albania since presenting her credentials on March 17, 2019.  Shawa studied at Schmidt College for Girls in Jerusalem , and at the American University in Cairo .

On May 29, 2004, she was appointed Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and assigned to work within the staff of the State of Palestine’s mission to Norway .  She also worked as a senior advisor to the Palestinian diplomatic mission to Cyprus .
