About the author

He served as Secretary-General of the Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists. He was
a member of the Short Story and Novel Association.
He held the position of Minister of Culture and Information in the Palestinian National Authority
and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Education and Culture in the Palestine Liberation Organization.
He was recently elected Chairman of the Media, Culture, and Intellectual Affairs Committee, which emerged from the Sixth General Conference of the Fatah Movement. His
