Amina Abbas is rarely seen in the local and international media. She had represented the State of Palestine at the second conference of the Arab Women Organization, which was held in the UAE in 2008. On November 12, 2008, Abbas said: “There are more than 100 women and girls in Israeli prisons and detention centers, in addition to 11,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees. Their families suffer from deprivation, poverty, and the absence of loved ones, and this tragic and inhumane situation for women and the Palestinian family requires the international community to work to end this oppression and torment.”

On February 28, 2012, she co-sponsored with the wife of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Amina Erdogan, a charitable donation campaign for the victims of the earthquake in the Turkish city of Van.a
