Sharif Hikmat al-Nashashibi, a Palestinian journalist, was born in Kuwait to a Palestinian-Jordanian-Lebanese Muslim father and an Iraqi-Syrian Christian mother. He studied international journalism and worked in several press and media organizations. Sherif Hikmat al-Nashashibi is the president and co-founder of Arab Media Watch, a London-based organization that monitors British media coverage of Arab world affairs. He is also called from time to time to speak on television and radio stations and a number of universities and colleges. He has published many writings and articles.
