Ashraf Masharawi is a documentary filmmaker from Gaza. He started working in 2000, and produced and directed more than forty films, including “Gaza Lives”, “Empty Bowels” and “Slavery in Yemen”. He won several international awards, the most recent of which was the Sarajevo Film Festival Award.
