Ahmed Afani is a former editor and broadcaster in the Arabic section of Voice of Germany Radio. He was born in 1930 in the town of Burin in the Nablus district . He finished his high school studies in Haifa and Jerusalem . He worked in the education field in Syria , Kuwait, and Sharjah , then traveled to Europe to study aeronautical engineering at Aachen University in Germany in 1957. He worked in the aviation accounts sector at the United Aviation Factories in Bremen . Then he chose to work in the field of media. He joined the Voice of Germany radio station as a freelancer in 1965 and was appointed there in 1971. He also worked in establishing the Kuwait News Agency office in Bonn . He worked as an official and editor of Al-Sabah magazine and the political program. Echo of the day .
