Wadad Barghouthi (born in 1958 in Cooper - is a journalist and a Palestinian writer carrying doctoral degree in the press and media, and is a lecture in the Department of Media at Birzeit University, and is also a prisoner of prisons of the Israeli occupation.
Wadad Barghouthi was born in 1958 in the village of Cooper north of Ramallah and Al-Bireh. Its basic education at the Cooper School in the 1960s, and then moved in 1970 to the secondary school for girls. He studied the media at the State University of Russia and during its return in 1980 in the holiday to visit their people had been arrested by the Israeli occupation army and prevented from traveling for a year. On 1 September 2019, Israeli forces stormed her home and was arrested on charges of incitement through social networking sites. On 11 May 2019 The Israeli occupation demolished her home.
