Information

Sharif Al Alami was born in Jaffa, Palestine in 1931. Received his primary and secondary education in Palestine and completed his secondary education in Lebanon. He then joined the American University in Beirut to study Public Administration. He worked in Radio Orient in Limassol in Cyprus within the camp of the British Army, first as a collaborator in 1952 during the last year of study at the university, there has succeeded in applying his mind was the idea of culture means in the context of entertainment. And actually began his program that he called at the time (think and have fun).


He graduated in 1953 and work as a translator and broadcaster. Following the tripartite aggression on Egypt in 29 October 1956 he resigned from the radio, which was funded by Britain's solidarity .

Sahrif joined the Saudi Arabia Broadcast in Jeddah After the trouble of unemployment and briefly, and then worked in the Bank of Cairo as an assistant director of the bank.
 
Joined in 1960 to a group of veteran broadcasters to contribute to the development of Radio Kuwait.
 
During the establishment of Kuwait Television, he received training in the television business the years 1962 and 1964 in London, which enabled him to take over management of diverse programs in Kuwait Television. He Developed the idea of the program of competitions to suit the TV screen and named it "Seen Jeem". The program first show was in 1962 untill 1996. His main concern was always the provision of information and cultural information in the general framework of a renewed, began production of its innovative approach in those days. 

He died in Amman on 3 January 2008.
