A new and honorable success story written by the Palestinian refugee researcher "Salah Al-Sadi" (38 years old), through his scientific research to desalinate groundwater to make it drinkable, the first place in the Arab Society Award "ARESCO".
ahead of 120 European universities.
The research he presented as a master's thesis within two years, and then the thesis was converted as a scientific research, concerned with treating water from nitrates using environmentally friendly methods and free of chemical additives without the use of electricity.
Regarding the research and the scientific project, Al-Sadi says: "The scarcity of potable water in the Gaza Strip, and the lack of groundwater of more than 97% according to the reports of the World Health Organization, prompted him to devote most of his time, efforts and interests, challenging the harsh conditions, obstacles and lack of capabilities, especially in light of the Corona pandemic, hoping to eliminate the problem of environmental pollution using environmentally friendly methods and alternatives.
"Salah Al-Sadi" from Gaza aspires to establish a central laboratory in the Strip, through which he can gather a number of distinguished researchers in the field of scientific research to be a pillar and an advanced model.
