The Palestinian student, Jowa Emad Nazzal, from the town of Qabatiya in Jenin, won first place globally in this year’s Intel Global Innovations Research Competition.
The child, Nazzal, presented her project under the title “Medical Socks to Restore Life,” which can help millions of patients by wearing medical socks that help them recover.
Nazzal had submitted an individual project as a student at Qabatiya Girls’ Western Secondary School, Qabatiya District, under the supervision of the school’s Maryam Fadl Nazzal, and she qualified as part of 5 projects and innovations about the State of Palestine.
The Ministry of Education previously announced that 5 students will represent these five projects and innovations. The State of Palestine at the Intel Exhibition in the United States of America this month of May, at the Intel International Science and Education Exhibition - ISEF - which was organized in the United States of America.
The Ministry of Education congratulated her victory, as Minister Sabri Saidam announced that her victory was evidence of determination and a victory for Palestine, in addition to the victory of Mays Hussein and Joanna Anasawy from the Ramallah and Al-Bireh District and the award for best research.
