Bio
Islam Abu-Dawod was born in Hebron, Palestine, in 1984. She completed her secondary education in the Scientific Stream at Alshareiah School, Palestine, in 2002.
In 2006, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU).
Islam began her professional career in 2008, joining the Friends of Fawzi Kawash IT Center of Excellence at PPU as a Multimedia Designer. In 2016, she was also appointed as an Administrative Assistant in the Business Incubator Unit, while continuing her role at the IT Center.
Her responsibilities expanded further in 2018, when she began working in Marketing, Promotion, and Media for the Center of Excellence and Continuing Education, in addition to her existing roles.
In 2020, she was assigned the role of Webmaster for the PPU website within the Computer Center. Two years later, in 2022, she transitioned to the Public Relations and Media Department as the official Webmaster of the PPU website.
