The Palestinian teacher, Jamil Al-Darbashi, from the Hebron Boys’ School affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), received the Best Inspiring Teacher Award in the World from the British School Enterprise Challenge for the year 2018.

The Palestinian teacher won the award out of about 5,000 teachers from 150 countries in the world, as part of the program to improve the reality of education in school through student cooperatives, according to what Russia Today reported.

Al-Darbashi also received a sum of money and the title of a mobile ambassador for improving education in remote areas of the world. This is not the first time that a Palestinian teacher has received such an award.
