The distinction of Palestinian youth is renewed wherever they go, Arab, European and American. They deserve that distinction for their achievements and successes that have transcended local and regional borders to global ones. At the University of Oslo in Norway, the Palestinian academic Dr. Nadia Haj Yassin, as an assistant doctor in molecular nutrition at the Faculty of Medicine at the Norwegian University.
During her work at the university, Dr. Nadia has accumulated experience in the field of medical research, as her daily work includes a variety of tasks, including planning and implementing scientific research, conducting experiments, analyzing data, writing scientific articles, and scientific lectures for students.
During the past few years, the Palestinian Academy published 10 scientific articles in advanced international scientific journals. In 2011, she was also selected to participate in the sixty-first meeting of Nobel Prize winners “dedicated to Physiology or Medicine.”
Dr. Nadia Yassin studied biology and biotechnology at the Arab American University. She obtained a master's degree in medical molecular biotechnology in 2006 from Ghent University in Belgium.
At the end of 2006, she was lucky and obtained a scholarship from the European Union to study for a doctorate in neuroscience from the Norwegian University of Oslo. She defended her doctoral thesis in February 2012.
