Dr. Ahmed Ayad is an assistant professor who holds a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from Aston University, obtained in 2012. He joined the Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Arts in 2012. Dr. Ahmed teaches courses in translation theories and history, applied translation (levels 1, 2, and 3), translation seminar for master's students, as well as courses in translation and English language for undergraduate students. His research interests include exploring ideologies and the role of translators in confrontations and wars.
