Professor Abdul Nasser Nour holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Nakpur University, India, in 1988, a Master’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Pune University, India, in 1990, and a PhD in Accounting from Rajasthan University, India, in 1996.
He assumed the task of heading and establishing the Accounting Department at Al-Isra University from 1996-2005, during which he was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of Accounting in 2000. He then moved to the Middle East University for Graduate Studies/Jordan in 2005, and assumed the deanship and establishment of the College of Business for Graduate Studies from 2008-2014, and obtained the rank of professor in 2008. From 2014-2016, he was recruited to establish the College of Graduate Studies at Zarqa University in Jordan, in addition to his duties as a professor of accounting and supervising graduate students at the university. From 2016-2018, he was recruited as Dean of the College of Business at Amman Private University/Jordan, in addition to teaching master's and bachelor's degrees and supervising master's theses in accounting.
He published more than 100 scientific research papers in various specialized refereed foreign, Arab and local scientific journals, and published 9 books in his field of specialization. He supervised more than 80 master's theses and 14 doctoral dissertations, and participated in many refereed Arab, foreign and local conferences, either by participating in research or chairing the conference sessions. He was also used as an external evaluator for some Arab universities in the Gulf and the Arab world regarding quality, and as a referee and evaluator in many foreign and Arab journals with high impact.
In 2018, he was recruited to An-Najah National University as a professor in the Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences.
