Khalil Elias Jahshan ( born 1948 ) is a Palestinian - American former university professor. He was born in Nazareth , Palestine , to a Palestinian Christian family. He completed his middle and high school education in Nazareth before moving to the United States to complete his university studies. He was a lecturer in international studies and languages at Pepperdine University from 2004 to 2013. He is currently the executive director of the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Washington, D.C.
