We are currently seeking to form special committees that will provide local support and opportunities for women and girls to motivate them to pursue science and bridge the gap in this field.” “I encourage girls to study it because people don’t want girls to study it, but it controls many aspects of our lives, starting from the remote control to the electrical circuits related to the mobile phone, electrical power and alternative energy .”
Her postgraduate studies
Hala Al-Khazindar obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Birzeit University in 1987, a Master’s degree in 1995 from New Mexico State University in the United States of America , and a PhD from the same university in 1999. In 2000, she joined the Islamic University of Gaza to work in electrical engineering.
Her scientific output
She published more than one hundred scientific papers, through which she highlighted her scientific output, starting with the study of optical fibers and their applications in communications and optical sensors; passing through the study of metamaterials and their applications in many fields, especially in communications, then studying the characteristics of microwave transmission lines, especially in the presence of the Schottky rectifier and the resonant rectifier.
