Dr. Adel Saqf Al-Hayt held several educational positions in Kuwait and Jordan, including: Advisor to the Ministers of Higher Education and Education in Kuwait (1988-1990).
Consultant to the Private Education Foundation in the State of Kuwait (1991-1992)
Editorial Advisor for (Al-Khafji) Magazine, a cultural and educational magazine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (1988-1990).
Member of the Board of Trustees of Al-Zaytoonah Private University of Jordan since 1996.
He began writing five decades ago, and in 1944 he gave talks on Palestinian radio about nature poetry among the Arabs.
He continued writing, authoring his book "Al-Wadih fi al-Adab al-Arabi al-Hadith" (The Clear Book on Modern Arabic Literature), published by Al-Hajjawi Library in Nablus in 1951, in collaboration with Ali Sabri. The book won first place in a competition held by the Ministry of Education in Amman.
His books reached fifteen textbooks, most of which were published in Kuwait. He also authored and published seven other books, including: "Research in Language and Curricula... and the Philosophy of Higher Education..." He participated in twelve scientific conferences and seminars in Kuwait, Algeria, Riyadh, and Amman.
Member of seventeen scientific committees, all in the fields of education, language, and curricula. Secretary-General of the Teachers' Syndicate in Jordan in 1956. Vice-President of the First Conference of Jordanian Expatriates. And head of their association in the State of Kuwait.
He received a gold medal and a shield at a special ceremony held by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education. He delivered numerous lectures on the city of Nablus and its 20th-century history at the Aibal Society in Amman, several Jordanian universities, and cultural clubs in Kuwait.
The late Dr. Adel Mohammed Saqf Al-Hayt passed away in Amman on March 10, 2011.
