1959, Khan Yunis. PhD in Environment and Water from Manchester University; he is a professor; he works at the Islamic University in Gaza since 1982. He was a visiting professor in several countries: Bremen University in Germany, Manchester University in Britain, and Virginia University in US. He is head of Environmental Studies Center in the Islamic University. He is a fellow at the American Society for Science Advancement and member of the American Federation of geophysicists and member in the British geology scientific society. Minister of Agriculture 2006.
