Samer Mudalal a staff member (with Professor rank) of the Department of Plant Production & Protection - Faculty of Agriculture, An-Najah National University and senior researcher with research interests in bio-control of plant diseases using antagonistic fungi and bio-control of agricultural insects of crops using entomopathogenic fungi.
Education:
- B. Sc., M. Sc., Diplome d'Agronomie Approfondi (DAA), and Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences (Plant Protection: Agricultural Entomology and Plant Pathology). Holder of the Ph.D degree since 1991.
Employment history:
- Working in "Hebron (Al-Khalil) University" from 1991 to 1994 and in "An-Najah National University" from 1995 until present.
Working in An-Najah University as assistant professor from 1995 to 2001, associate professor from 2002 to 2006 and full professor from 2007 until present.
Post-doctorate Fellowship (1993/94) in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, University of Gembloux, Gembloux – Belgium. 2) DAAD-Scholarship for supporting a 3-month research visit to Germany for 2 times (summer 2005 &summer 2010). 3) Research grant from United States Academy for Educational Development (US-AED) for supporting a 15-month research project (2004 /2005). 4) Sabbatical leave for one academic year (2008 / 2009) for conducting research studies in Australia (fellowship from Adelaide University, Adelaide, South Australia).
