his journey with poetry
It is not far from the right to say that Abdul Hadi Kamel's journey with poetry began when he was a young boy whose eyes devoured the beauty they saw in his rural environment, and his memory preserved everything he heard, and he became aware of all aspects of nature around him. As a child, he experienced the loss of his mother, whose tenderness, warmth, and sympathy were deprived of her death and departure from his world. But the fate that took from his world what every child needs in terms of care and affection, compensated for that with his paternal grandmother, who took care of him and took care of him. She used to sing to him poems, poems, and popular songs, warm in meaning, refined in tone, and gentle in words, which calmed his soul and summoned it until he moved to stillness and sleep. The soft, affectionate melody, the soft, sympathetic voice, and the soft, beautiful speech were all factors that prepared his conscience and the depths of his feelings to connect with the world of the beauty of poetry, which he conveyed to his atmosphere, as his grandmother pledged to him with kindness and tenderness.
And when the stage of his awareness of what was around him began, and his realization of the meanings and areas of beauty in his village, and the splendor of nature in its plains, valleys and mountains, from the sun rising in the morning and setting in the evening, and a sky whose stars and moon sparkling at night, he began to fill all of that and plant in the depths of himself, so he tended to silence and contemplation, so he would play With an inattentive idea of what was around him, no one knew that this absorption and contemplation were the first seed that planted poetry in himself and his conscience, and that this young boy, starting to life, would one day become one of the poets who would leave behind a heritage that immortalized them.
