Youssef Munir is a
Palestinian-American writer and political analyst based in the United States.
He is the executive director of the American Campaign for Palestinian Rights.
Previously, he worked in managing the Jerusalem Fund for Education and
Community Development. He was also a policy analyst for the American-Arab
Anti-Discrimination Committee.
Education and educational attainment
Munir was born in occupied
Palestine, and spent most of his early life in New Jersey.
Mounir holds a BA in Political
Science and History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and five BAs
in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College. He also holds a PhD in
Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.
personal life
He is married to a Palestinian woman
from Nablus in the occupied West Bank. They met in Massachusetts when they
attended neighboring colleges. They both live outside of Washington.
