Khaled Fariz Assad Nasra (born in Jenin 1924 - died July 14, 2007 in Al-Bireh) was a Palestinian poet and journalist. He graduated from high school. He worked in the press as an editor for Al-Quds newspaper , then Al-Nahar Al-Quds. He has many collections of poetry. He died in Al-Bireh . [1] [2] [3]

Khaled Fariz Asaad Nasra was born in the city of Jenin in 1924. He obtained a high school certificate and stopped studying because of his difficult life circumstances. Then he entered the press, so he worked as a cultural editor in Al- Quds Al-Quds newspaper , and worked as a cultural editor in Al-Nahar newspaper as well. During his literary career, he won literary prizes for poetry from Jordan, London, Riyadh, Kuwait and Palestine. He worked in journalism during his long career, and supervised literary corners in several Palestinian and Jordanian newspapers. His ideal is among the poets Al-Mutanabbi, Ahmed Shawqi and Omar Abu Risha. [4] He was called “the knight of the vertical poem in Palestine.” [5]
Khaled Nasra died in the afternoon of July 14, 2007 / 29 Jumada al-Akhirah 1428 at the age of 83, after a long struggle with illness, in the city of Al-Bireh . [6]
