Maher Al-Jaabari is an academic, researcher, thinker, and political writer from Palestine.
His life
He was born in Jerusalem in 1965, and studied and worked in many Arab and Western countries. He obtained a doctorate degree in chemical engineering at McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1994, and received first place in his bachelor’s degree and a royal award upon his graduation from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 1989.
A professor of engineering who presents viewpoints in culture - civilization - science based on the practice of critical thinking in scientific fiction. He currently works as an associate professor in the College of Engineering and Technology at Palestine Polytechnic University in Hebron, where he directs the Center for Integration with Industry. He had worked as an advisor to the Board of Trustees of a Palestinian university in the field of planning, development projects, and relations with donors. He participated in many development activities and prepared dozens of development project proposals and developmental studies.
He has a presence in the Arab media through articles, news, and live broadcast meetings. He participated in organizing scientific conferences, and lectured in dozens of Arab and international conferences and in Arab and international academic cooperation meetings. He has over twenty research papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences, and has refereed scientific research and dissertations for students. He has literary writings and participated in editing a scientific journal.
He recently published his book Civil Society and Foreign Funding: Prospects or Challenges.

He is a former member of the media office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Palestine.
