Saleh Al-Naami is a Palestinian writer, researcher and journalist specializing in Israeli affairs and their intersections with Arab, Palestinian and Islamic affairs. He currently resides in the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
His education
He graduated in 1990 from An-Najah National University in Nablus with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and obtained a Master’s degree in Regional Studies from Al-Quds University with a thesis entitled “Censorship of Israeli Newspapers 1986-2006,” and a PhD in Political Science with a thesis entitled “The Rise of the Religious Zionist Movement in Israel and Its Domestic and Regional Implications.”

He began his career as a journalist working as an editor and commentator on Israeli affairs at Al-Watan newspaper between 1994 and 1996, then worked as an editor and commentator on Israeli affairs at Al-Risala newspaper between 1997 and 2003. He also worked as a correspondent for the London-based Asharq Al - Awsat newspaper in the Palestinian territories between 1999 and 2013, and as a correspondent for the English-language Al-Ahram Weekly newspaper in Cairo between 2006 and 2012.
He wrote hundreds of articles and reports on Israeli affairs and their Arab, Palestinian and Islamic intersections in the newspapers: Al- Hayat (London), Al-Dustour (Jordan), Al - Risala (Jordan), Al-Ayyam (Al -Ayyam ), Al-Sabil (Al-Sabil), Al-Watan (Al-Watan) and Al-Dar (Palestine), and in the magazines: Viewpoints (Egypt), Al-Mujtama (Kuwait), Al-Bayan (Saudi Arabia), Middle East Studies (Jordan), Palestine Al-Muslimah (London) and Palestine Politics (Palestine) (Ramallah).
As a researcher, he has published many research papers. The Al Jazeera Center for Studies published 12 peer-reviewed research papers for him, as did the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Doha, the Center for Middle East and Africa Studies in Khartoum, the Center for Middle East Studies in Amman, and the Baheth Center in Beirut.
