Biography
began writing in 2000, making several attempts at poetry and prose. I then moved on to short stories and later novels. My desire for expression and literature was strengthened when I enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at university in 2004. This provided me with ideas and helped me delve deeper into everything I read. I read my own works and considered their impact on the reader, just as it would. Then I wrote my first novel, "Correspondence," trying to gather all the ideas within it. Later, I improved my writing in "Marriage," which was better than its predecessor in terms of depth and coherence of ideas.
I didn't receive much encouragement from those around me, and perhaps this affected me somewhat. However, what motivated me to write again were my posts on Facebook, how my excerpts were admired by readers, and how everyone began describing their own experiences and how they perfectly mirrored what I was writing.
At that time, I decided to compile all those fragments into a book titled "Scattered Thoughts from Myself," which received praise from many readers. This encouraged me to write even more. Then, I gathered all my writings into neat rows and later included them in the book "And for the Pillows, Absences."
Around the same time, my first short stories were published, beginning with "The War of Denunciation" and then "The Garments," which I added to my literary collection.
As for the booklet "Have You Thought," it came about unintentionally. I had literary sessions with several people, discussions, debates, and both fruitful and fruitful arguments, from which I extracted the material included in that booklet.
Currently, I am working on a new novel, the details of which will be provided if requested.
I am also participating in the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction with my novel "The Hut of Time and the Little One's Sigh," which I hope will receive all the positive and encouraging feedback it deserves, as it is competing against the works of established writers and literary figures whose work is a source of awe.
