Literary Vision and Aspirations
Qamar Abdul Rahman hopes that the programs String of Victory and Do You Hear the Echo of Pain? will continue to serve as a source of support and encouragement for Palestinian prisoners, both men and women, until the hoped-for victory.
Her broader literary vision is to bring poetry and literature into every home and make them part of everyday life and different occasions, allowing people from all backgrounds to appreciate language and literary expression beyond the circles of writers, poets, cultural evenings, and seminars.
She also calls on intellectuals and cultural figures to take a genuine position in support of the Palestinian cause and to address what she describes as the deliberate marginalization of the Palestinian cause and people.
