Born in the village of Talfeet in Nablus in 1971, received a BA in Arabic Literature and an MA in International Relations, both from Birzeit University is currently an editor at "Ayyam" newspaper and at the Palestine Center for Israeli Studies, "Madar". Is also Editor in Chief of the Periodical Siyasat. He wrote Alexander's Premonitions published in 2003 and The Biography of a Sweating Scorpion which won the Abdel Mohsen Qattan Foundation prize for 2007 and which has been translated into French and Italian.
