Naem Abu Al-Jebin was born in Hiribya village on 18-10-1940.

In 1948, Naem emigrated to Gaza where he finished his elementary and secondary education (1950-1957). He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo, Egypt. After his graduation, he worked as a teacher at Dar al-Mua'lmen; lecturer at the UNRWA from 1968-1984; Al-Quds Open University from 1995-1996, established the Arts Department in Al-Aqsa University where he became its president until his retirement in 2000.
