Born in Ma'ir (was a Palestinian village located 17.5 kilometers east of Acre) 1941, finished his primary education in his village; secondary education in Kafr Yasif village, studied at the University of Haifa 1976, worked as a teacher, joined the Communist Party in the late of 1970's; editor of (Al-Itihad) daily newspaper, his stories was translated to several languages. Taha currently lives in Palestine.
