Born in Haifa 1944; his family emigrated to Damascus in 1948 (Nakba), received his primary and secondary education in Damascus 1964; Licentiate in Literature from Damascus University 1968, Diploma in Education from the same university; he then moved to Cairo and joined al-Azhar where he received a Diploma in the Islamic Studies; MA in Damascus; member of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists.
