Yousef Khatib is a Palestinian poet. He was born in Dura, Hebron in 1931. 
Yousef received his secondary education in Hebron, he then joined the Faculty of Law at Damascus University; graduated in 1955. 

He served in many posts in Damascus, Palestine, Riyadh, Sawt Al-Arab Broadcast, Cairo, Kuwait, Baghdad and the Arab Netherlands Radio. He also has served as the general director of the Organization of Syrian Arab Radio and TV in 1965. Yousif was elected as deputy secretary general of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists. 

In 1965, he established Dar Falasteen for Media. Yousef is a member of the Palestinian National Council.
