Saba Shibr was born in Jerusalem 1923, studied at the Bishop's School and Terra Santa College, received the Metric certificate in 1941; BA in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut in 1944; another BA in Architecture from Cairo University in 1946, he then left to the United States in the same year, in order to obtain his Masters degree; another MA in 1948; PhD from Cornell University while he was a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering in American University of Beirut.


Saba was appointed as a director of a consultant office in Saudi Arabia. He suddenly died in 1968.
