Samih Natour was born in Daliyat al-Karmel in 1946, finished his primary education in his village; secondary education in Haifa Municipality School, studied Political Science and History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
In 1975, he established Al-Tali'a Library for Publishing and Journalism, he started writing poems at an early age.
