Born in Safed in 1900, finished his primary stage in his home country; secondary in Beirut, then he joined Dar al-Mua'almen in Damascus in 1917. He came back to Safed, appointed as an Arabic language teacher in its secondary school, in 1922 - 1923 he joined the Institute Law of Palestine; after the 1929 revolution he moved to Haifa and worked as a teacher.
