Mona Jan Kattan is a Palestinian actress, born in Haifa. Then she returned to Egypt to live with her mother, which helped her get to know the poet and cartoonist Salah Jahin. Mona married Jahin in 1967 and they had one daughter (Samia Jahin), an artist and political activist. Mona Kattan has participated in many cinematic and television works, the most famous of which are (Khali Balak Min Zozo), written by Jahin, and (Princess of My Love Anna) and (Karnak). She also participated in the series (Al-Ayyam) and (Zizinia).
