Salim Gibran
Khoury, better known as Salim Khoury (born in 1934 in the village of Al-Birwa,
Palestine - died in 1991 in Haifa) is a late Palestinian writer of short
stories, novels, theater and criticism.

He studied at
Al-Rama and Kafr Yasif schools, and graduated from Yeni Secondary School in
1954. He studied Arabic literature and education at the Universities of Haifa
and Al-Quds.
working life
He worked as a
teacher at Al-Mutanabi Comprehensive Secondary School in Haifa. He also worked
at the Nuns Secondary School, then moved to the Arab Orthodox College, until he
was referred to early retirement in 1985. He devoted himself to writing after
contracting, and wrote in theatre, story, novel and criticism.
