Saleh Al-Naami is a Palestinian writer, researcher and journalist specializing in Israeli affairs and its Arab, Palestinian and Islamic intersections. He currently resides in the Maghazi refugee camp in the central area of the Gaza Strip.

He began his career as a journalist by working as an editor and commentator for Israeli affairs at Al-Watan newspaper between 1994 and 1996, then worked as an editor and commentator for Israeli affairs at Al-Risala newspaper between 1997 and 2003. He also worked as a reporter for the London-based newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat in the Palestinian territories between 1999 and 2013, and a reporter for the English-language newspaper Al Ahram Weekly in Cairo between 2006 and 2012.

 

He wrote hundreds of articles and reports on the Israeli issue and its Arab, Palestinian and Islamic intersections in the London-based Al-Hayat newspapers, the Jordanian Al-Dustour, Al-Risala, Al-Ayyam, Al-Sabeel, Al-Watan and the Palestinian Al-Dar newspapers, and in the magazines: “Destinations” Nazar” in Egypt, “Society” in Kuwait, “Al-Bayan” in Saudi Arabia, “Middle East Studies” in Jordan, “Muslim Palestine” in London, and “Palestine Politics” in Ramallah.
