Subhi Saad Eddin Ghosheh (March 31, 1929 - April 30, 2019): He was a Palestinian thinker, writer, and politician. He was born in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem in 1929, then he obtained a bachelor's degree in medicine from the American University of Beirut in 1953. He was one of the founders of the Arab Nationalist Movement with George Habash, Hani Al-Hindi, and others. Then, in 1967, he established the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front. He served as a member of its Central Committee from then until his death. He also founded the Makassed Charitable Association in Jerusalem in 1954, and from it established the Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem in 1968. He also worked as a member of the municipality and the Jerusalem Municipality, before the setback in 1967. He founded the Union of Palestinian Pharmacists and Doctors in 1974, and finally settled in Amman from 1991, until his death On April 30, 2019.

His literary works
A thousand books dating back to the period in which he lived, especially Jerusalem. One of his most important books is "Jerusalem... Social Life in the Twentieth Century", which won the award for the best book on the social and demographic situation in Jerusalem within the Jerusalem Cultural Competitions Program of the Jordanian Ministry of Culture.
