Born in Deir al-Qasi, Palestine, in 1943, Sadiq experienced the displacement caused by the Israeli occupation in 1948, leading his family to migrate to Lebanon. There, he completed his secondary education at the American Girard Institute, now known as the National Evangelical School in Sidon. In 1959, he pursued higher education at the American University of Beirut, graduating with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 1964.
Sadiq is extensively involved in business and leadership roles. He currently chairs the board of directors of the Al Habtoor Leyton Group and is the owner and chairman of the board of directors of the Construction Machinery Center, specializing in construction machinery. Additionally, he serves as the owner and president of the prestigious five-star hotel "Grand Millennium" in Dubai.
Beyond his business ventures, Sadiq actively participates in various institutions and organizations. He holds positions as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Palestine Studies and the American University of Sharjah. Moreover, he chairs the Resource Development Committee at the American University of Sharjah and serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Pearl Initiative. His multifaceted involvement demonstrates his commitment to both professional excellence and philanthropic endeavors.
