Born on January 13, 1942, a prominent Arab archaeologist and historian, specializing in the history of the ancient Near East, and an academic, he obtained a doctorate in 1976 from the University of Vienna in, Khaled Al-Nashif worked as a lecturer at the University of Tübingen in Germany from 1978 until 1987 year.

Khaled Al-Nashif worked as a lecturer at the University of Tübingen in Germany from 1978 to 1987, and then at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He worked in preparing the famous "Tübinger Atlas des Vorderen Orients" in Germany, which is the most important and largest atlas prepared in Germany. The atlas was known regionally, and it included all the information of the Middle East in geography, historical eras, geology, population, transportation, economics, and others.
