Samir Ghosheh (born in 1937 in Jerusalem - August 3, 2009) is a Palestinian politician who served as Minister of Labor in the Council of Ministers of the Palestinian Authority , and is the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front .
In the sixties, he joined the Arab Nationalists Movement , before being one of the first to join the front formed in 1967. In 1974, he was elected its Secretary-General, and led it to join the Rejection Front . In 1989, he was elected a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization . He supported the Oslo Accords , which led to a split in the front led by Khaled Abdel Majeed . In January 2007, President Mahmoud Abbas appointed himAs head of the Jerusalem Affairs Department in the PLO.
